What Can I Expect During Treatment?
You’ve completed your medical forms and complimentary consultation, and now you’re ready for treatment! After the application of topical anesthetic (numbing cream), you will wait for the product to take effect in our comfortable and private secondary waiting area.
Next, you will be taken to your room to start treatment. Your practitioner will maximize your comfort during and after treatment with the combination of numbing cream, epidermal cooling, post-care education, and complete staff support. While everyone’s tolerance is different, you will feel the slight pressure of the headpiece as the microneedles are delivered under the skin.

What Can I Expect After Treatment?
After treatment, you should expect redness in the area for one to two days. It is possible to experience longer-lasting redness and/or swelling in the area. Rarely, a patient may report extended redness and bruising of the areas for up to a week. Clean, mineral-based makeup can be applied after twenty-four hours and you can immediately return to regular activities. Since there is a chance that you could have varying degrees of redness, you should plan treatment accordingly.
How Many Treatments Do I Need? What Results Can I Expect?
That depends on you! Radio-frequency microneedling treatments can be used to improve skin laxity, sun-damaged skin, and acne scars on the face and neck, as well as stretch marks. The number of treatments you need varies by needs, expected results, and skin type.
Anyone can benefit from one treatment of skin tightening and collagen building. On average, a series of 3 treatments is recommended for most patients; 3 to 5 treatments may be necessary for optimal results and acne-scarred patients.
Patients have reported seeing improvements in skin tone and texture within a week or two of Genius radio-frequency microneedling, however the most impressive results are progressively seen several weeks to months after the treatment as new collagen continues to build.
